ECE 547 - Integrated Circuit Design and Layout

David E. Kotecki, Ph.D.

Associate Professor
Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering
University of Maine

Introduction:

ECE 547, Integrated Circuit Design and Layout, teaches the fundamentals of integrated circuit design and allows students to submit custom IC designs for fabrication through Mosis. The latest integrated circuits designed in this class were fabricated using a 130nm CMOS process. Fabricated circuits are tested during ECE 548, Integrated Circuit Testing. The ECE Department at UMaine is a member of the Cadence University Software Program which provides students with access to a state-of-the-art integrated circuit design environment.
